About RCRC
In operation since 1985, Redwood Caregiver Resource Center continues to provide services to family caregivers throughout the Redwood Empire, including the counties of Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, Sonoma, Napa, and Solano.
Mission
The mission of Redwood CRC is to help families and communities master the challenges of caring for adults with brain disorders through programs and services that address the emotional, physical, and financial needs of family caregivers. We provide information and assistance to families and caregivers of adults with brain impairments due to injury or disease, as well as to the caregivers of the frail elderly.
Staff
At Redwood CRC we have a wonderful staff. Each member is personally invested in the lives of our clients and their families. Family Consultants are professionals who will listen to your experiences, answer your questions, offer you resources, help you find peace and balance in care, and more.
Funding
Redwood Caregiver Resource Center is a program of North Coast Opportunities, Inc. (NCO) and is funded by the California Department of Aging, Area 1 Agency on Aging, Area 26 Agency on Aging, Area 27 Agency on Aging, Area 28 Agency on Aging, grants and private contributions.
Statewide Association
Redwood CRC is part of a statewide system of eleven nonprofit Caregiver Resource Centers (CRCs) offering support and assistance to caregivers of adults with brain impairments through education, research, services and advocacy. Funding comes from the California Department of Aging, grants, and gifts from our generous donors. All services are free or low cost.
